Gay Fad Studios is proud to introduce the "Lost Collection"! Elegance is the first is a series of designs created by Gay Fad Studios Art Director, Bill (Wilhemena) Butcher, in 1963 after the closure of Gay Fad. As Fran Taylors close friend and first employee, Butcher's artistic talents influenced many of Gay Fad's original designs over a 23-year period. Butcher was a prolific designer and continued producing glassware artwork beyond Gay Fad's closing in 1962. In 2023, Butcher's family collaborated with the newly revived Gay Fad Studios to resurrect her artwork and produce it on glass as intended. Each design of the lost collection originated in a hand drawn or painted form and were meticulously adapted to today's modern glass styles. But much like Fran Taylor's talents, Butcher's designs were meant to Shine On!
